Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrops on forested slope. Krašovice Formation is exposed here and formed of erlanes, cordieritic and andalusitic schists and cherts with two quartzite horizons. Quartzites yielded typical Skolithos ichnofossils. Stratigraphically important outcrop.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Bohemicum (Central Bohemian region) - Island zone of Cntral Bohemian Pluton (roof pendants)
