Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Forested hill with natural outcrops. This locality is situated near the contact between metamorphic islets and granitoids of the Central Bohemian Pluton. Exposure of grey-green erlane with following mineral association: garnet, pyroxene, plagioclase, vesuvianite. Petrologically interesting locality.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Bohemicum (Central Bohemian region) - Island zone of Cntral Bohemian Pluton (roof pendants)
Stratigraphy: paleozoikum
