Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Pseudokarst cave formed on tectonic fissure in a migmatitized biotitic paragneiss. Frost features can be also observed. Some small caverns and tunnels in a blocky scree are also present. Numerous frost-riven cliffs occur on a slope of the Vrchovec Hill. The frost impact on rocks can be observed. It is recommended to emphasize a geological aspect in locality protection.
