Short characteristics of the site: In steep rocky rivercut of Olše River, the uppermost part of the Vendryně Formation with the Ropica Horizon and base of the Těšín Limestone Formation is exposed. The strata belong to the Silesian Unit. The locality shows the best exposed transition of mentioned formations in Moravia.
