Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Complex of rocks on slope overlooking the Dyje (Thaya) River channel. The rock is classified as a biotitic granodiorit. It contains quartz, plagioclase, mirocline and some accessories, as apartite and zircon. Plagioclase is kaolinized and often encloses quartz crystals. The locality is classified as Nature Monument. The rocks are of neoproterozoic age and belong to the Thaya Dome.
