Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Old abandoned quarry exposing a sequence of greyish and brownish greywackes and clayey siltstones of the Culm age. This sequence consists of rhythmites with alternation of graded bedded greywackes with clayey siltstones. Bioturbation is rich in greywackes together with current ripples. Convolute structures occur in finer grained greywackes and siltstones. This locality belongs to the Drahany Upland Area.
