Geology
Short characteristics of the site: This locality is represented of the active quarry with exposed fine- and medium-grained muscovite-biotite granite (so called Mrákotím Variety). The foliation planes are covered by biotite aggregates and xenolite accumulation. System of fractures is comparatively complicated and three orientations can be observed. This granite body demonstrates development of granite intrusion. This locality belongs to the Moldanubian Central Massif.
