Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The fishpond dam. The outcrop has been exposed during a dam reconstruction. It consists of stromatitic sillimanite-biotite migmatite with cordierite. It passes into a migmatitized biotite paragneiss. The contact with an intrusive muscovite-biotite granite. Rock foliation is ubiquitous. The shear joints affect the whole rock structure. This outcrop belongs to the metamorphic units in the Moldanubicum Zone. The locality is recommended for protection.
