Geology
Short characteristics of the site: This locality is situated on a slope of the elevation called "Červený kámen - the Red Stone" Both in the outcrops and blocky scree rhyolite ignimbrites of the Křivokoát-Rokycan Zone dominate. Numerous blacky fragmnents represent probably desagrated obsidian and/or pemza lumps. Mentioned lavas are probably products of a kaldera volcanic explosion and moved as glowing lava flows. The locality belongs to the Příbram-Jince Basin of the Barrandien |Upper Cambrian.
