Short characteristics of the site: The old abandoned quarry, completely overgrown, the wall of which is subdivided into two levels. In the lower one microgranite occurs, on the upper one microgranodiorite is present. In the microgranite radial aggregates of quartz and feldspar occur. They possibly originated by a devitrification of former glass matrix. In the granodorite a foliation with preferred orientation of minerals can be seen. The locality belongs to the Moldanubicum Zone. the Šumava Mts. area.
