Geology
Short characteristics of the site: This locality is called "Vinohrádek - the Vineyard". It ocurs in form of a pit quarry about 6 metres deep. This quarry exposes lydites - silicites. These topmost parts of lydites protrude from the surroundg Neoproterozoic greywackes. The lydite surface is polished in places with interesting pits and small depressions. It is supposed that these parts have been modelled by sea surf and breakers.
