Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Rocky outcrop exposing contact of the Bílá vody phyllites with underlying granitoid rocks of the Svratka Massif. The second ones are represented by leucocratic and sericified metagranites which locally resemble metaquartzites. Mentioned contact corresponds to so called Dřínov tectonic overfault. This tectonic movement was accompanied by strong deformation, fluidal structures and silicification. Small experimental adit was cut in the central part of the outcrop and discovered numerous calcite and baryte veins.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moravosilesian region - Moravicum
Stratigraphy: paleozoikum až proterozoikum
Subject: geology, petrology
Geological phenomenon: lithological boundary, outcrop, fault
Genesis: tectonic, metamorphic (general metamorphism), hydrothermal mineralization
