Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry in the Hlohovičky village in the periphery of Křivoklát-Rokycany formation. Rocks are dacites of the Furong age.They reveal rather massive, no n-altered appearance.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Bohemicum (Central Bohemian region) - Barrandien
