Geology

Short characteristics of the site: This locality displays a set of outcrops along the ridge slopes and foot. The outcrops are represented by rock blocks of different size, some of them being of really giant size. It is supposed that this block accummulation has been produced by an intensive debris avalanche or debris flow.This loclity belongs to the Doupovské hory Mts. area.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
