Geology
Short characteristics of the site: This locality is of petrological and geomorphological interest. It represents a dyke of differentiated alkali trachyandesite and morphologically a typical castle koppie. The trachyandesite was exposed by selective erosion from surrounding lahars and lava flows. This locality occurs in the Doupovské hory Mts. where many types of the Tertiary volcanics appear.
