Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The small rocky outcrops exposing penetration of amphibole-biotite melagranite (durbachite) into a secondary foliation of the felsitic granulite. This rock complex is also transected by a dyke of pegmatite several dozens of centimetres thick. This locality belongs to the southeastern part of the Šumava Mts. area.
