Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The outcrops of Carpatian grey clays and the Lower Badenian sandy limestones and sandstones. Clays are fossil-bearing, they contain rich association of foraminifers. The elevation slopes are covered by a thick layer of loess. The locality belongs to the southern part of the Carpathian Foredeep.
