Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry. Outcrop of relics of lava flows. Oligocene age was determined. Volcanic rocks consist of an olivinic basalt with rhonite. Basalts are in places weathered into a loamy matter. Petrologically and volcanologically very interesting locality.
