Geology
Short characteristics of the site: This locality shows block field with small outcrop. The rocks are products of the Variscan magmatic aktivity. Granites, diorites and diorite porphyries are present. several varieties of rocks occur. Granodiorites and tonalites are older, granite dykes of the Žumberk granite younger. Small cliff of amphibole-pyroxene gabbrodiorite also occurs there. Except of common rock forming minerals it contains also pyrite and magnetite. This locality belongs to the National Goeopark "Železné hory - "the Iron Mts."
