Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The abandoned shelf quarry. The locality is situated in the central part of the Nasavrky pluton. The exposed rocks belong to a gabbro family, as metagabbro, biotite granodorite and metadiorite. The rocks are slightly metamorphosed and deformed. The mylonitization effect can be often observed. The quarrying has been finished by the end of the last century. The exploited stones were used for aggregate production. The locality belongs to the National Geopark "Železné hory - the Iron Mts.".
