Geology

Short characteristics of the site: The structural evolution of thermal aureole of the Krkonoše-Jizera pluton can be studied at teh locality. The relationship between protolith textures and lithological bandind and growth of contact metamorphic minerals can be shown. The inner part of the aureole constist of muscovite, biotite, andalusite I, II, cordierite I, II horfelses, which underwent deformation probably due to at least two thermal pulses of the KJP.
