Geology

Short characteristics of the site: The abandoned quarry was opened in the coarse grained-pyroxene-amphibole metagabro with underwenta blueschist facies metamorphism and later was reequilibrated in the greenschist facies conditions. It consist of relic clinopyroxene, amphibolte (Ca-Na ammphibole to actinolite), albite, epidote, chlorite and opaque minerals (pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite).
