Short characteristics of the site: The abandoned flooded quarries. Their rocks belong to the mantle of the Železné hory pluton. Both abyssal and metamorphic rocks are present in this area, mainly granodiorites and biotite migmatites. The locality belongs to the National Geopark "Železné hory - the Iron Mts,".
