Short characteristics of the site: This locality belongs to the complex of magmatic rocks belonging to the Železné hory pluton. These rocks consist of fine grained two-mica granite. In the road cut series of rocky outcrops is present where local rocks have different composition from those abovementioned ones. Their composition is close to that of metadiabas or metagabbro. Their origin is not yet solved. Detailed magmetometric analyses have been carried out recently. This locality belongs to the National Geopark "Železné hory - the Iron Mts,".
