Short characteristics of the site: The locality occurs in the area of former intensive limestone quarrying. A large limestone wall reminds former pit quarry where sweveral types of limestones were exploited. Some of them were whitish, some other multicolour. All of them are crystalline. Nearby we find an entrance to the National Geopark with exhibition reminding a history of quarrying and limestone utilization,as well as the Palaeozoic geological history of the National Geopark. Also the old lime kiln from the first half of the 20th century can be found there. The limestones are of the Devonian age. The locality belongs to the National Geopark "Železné hory - the Iron Mts".
