Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline, Quaternary. Eastern and Northeastern slopes of the Smědava Mt. These slopes are affected by gravitational movements in form of mudflows, sandflows and block avalanches. Landslides were triggered in 2010 by strong torrential rains. Slope movements exposed a bedrock, consisting of porphyric biotite granite. This locality is situated in the Perotecxted Landscape Area.
