Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Barrandian Neoproterozoic and magmatites. Series of outcrops with exposed contact of biotite granite with Neoproterozoic schists. Emplacement of small granite bodies into Neoproterozoic phyllitic schists can be observed. Evidence of a contact metamorphosis is also clear. Coarse grained porphyric granite passes into more fine grained variety closer to the contact. In schists quartz lenses and veins are abundant.
