Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Series of outcrops in a road cut. Two-mica schists up to gneisses represent most abundant rock types. They are characterised by metamorphic banding and foliation. Locally relic metamorpphic textures as isoclinal folds as well as steep cleavage formed during Late Variscan stage ooccur.
