Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Krkonoše Piedmont Basin, Lower Rotliegend (Autunian), Kalná member. Erosional gully of an ephemeral stream. It exposes l00 cm thick limestone bed with coprolites and fish scales, overlain by laminated variegated calcareous claystones and marlstones. Sediments were deposited in nearshore lacustrine environment.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Upper Carboniferous and Permian - Lugic Late Palaeozoicum (including Triassic deposits)
