Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Silesian and Subsilesian units, Godula and Kelč development, Middle and Upper Cretaceous. Artificial trench showing tectonic contact of volcanics and claystones. This volcanite can be classified as monchiquite, claystones belong to the Hradiště Formation. In claystones rich association of calcitic and agglutinated benthic foraminifers occurs. Monchiquites are carbonitized and chloritized.
