Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Palaeozoic of the Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Two abandoned limestone quarries having quarried raw material for nearby limekiln during the 19th century. In one of these quarries entrance to the karst cave can be found. So called Krakonoš Cave is as long as 140 m. It is important and protected as horsehoe wintering ground.
