Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Permocarboniferous of the Krkonoše Piedmont and Intrasudetic basins. Geologically and historically important locality, from 1994 Technical Monument. The 132 m deep mine was opened by the end of the 18th century, so called Upper Coal Seams of the Lampertice beds of the Carboniferous age were exploited there. The mine was closed in 1994, conserved and became Technical Monument run and operated by Žacléř Town.
