Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubian Central Massif, Melechov Massif. Outcrops of a system of quartz veins. This quartz is coarse grained, whitish with some intergranular fillings of sericite. Some fragments of surrounding granite are present. The strike of quartz veins is subparallel to the prevailing direction of fracture systems.
