Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Series of rocky outcrops exposing porphyric biotite granite of Weinsberg type. This rock is typical with its feldspar phenocrysts and biotite inclusions as large as 10 cm. Fine grained granites contain also comparatively large mafic enclaves documenting immature mixing two different types of magma.
