Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Outcrop on a hill summit. Occurrence of a porphyritic granite porphyry, part of a massive Loučeň-Fláje Dyke. It can be morphologically followed in a northsouth direction. The porphyry contains lage K-feldspar phenocrysts. Petrologically interesting localiy.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Saxothuringicum - Krušné hory and Smrčiny crystalline complexes
