Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Abandoned quarry with dominating amphibole-biotite granodiorite. This locality belongs to the Eastern part of the Brno Massif. Magmatic foliation is present, penetration of granite up to granodiorite into mentioned rock body is clear. Part of this rock is epidotised, numerous accesories are present.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moravosilesian region - Brunovistulicum
