Short characteristics of the site: Carpathian Foredeep, southern part. Earth excavation in so called Brno Sand of Badenian age. Sands are current bedded with a layer of carbonate concretions. They are fossiliferous, contain abundant foraminiferal microfauna. bryozoa, ostracods, etc. Abundant clay fragments. Old, possibly Pleistocene landslide or mudflow deposit.
