Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Carpathian Foredeep, its southern part. Outcrops ooff sands and petromictic gravels of Ottnag age. Coarse grained rusty sands contain gravel layers and some greenish clayey clay balls. Gravels with clay interlayers contain forams and sponge spicules rewashed from underlying Cretaceous sediments. Sands and cgravels were deposited in fluviolacustrine environmnent within broad delta.
