Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Barrandian, Uppper Cambrian volcanics. Mighty rocks on steep slope overlooking Berounka River. Upper Cambrian andesites with transition to basalts on one hand and to more acidic dacites on the other hand. These rocks belong to the geological unit called the Křivoklát-Rokycany Complex. Very instructive outcrops of the Upper Cambrian volcanics.
