Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Barrandian Cambrian, Middle Cambrian sediments and Upper Cambrian volcanics. Outcrops along trail leading to the Týřov Castle. Vosnik Conglomerate is of petromictic character with clasts derived from the underlying Proterozoic. Upwards, erosional contact with overlying andesitic up to basaltic volcanics. It indicates hiatus and possibly massive erosion. The Vosnik Conglomerate represents youngest member of the Skryje-Týřovice Middle Cambrian.
