Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum of Český les Mts. Outcrops of rocks of the Bohemian Quartz Dyke. Up to 80 metres thick quartz dyke, prominent linear elevation, affected by Tachov fault line. Several traces of quartz exploitation, several larger quarries and numerous abandoned pits. This quartz was quarried and used in a glass industry.
