Short characteristics of the site: Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, sandstones of the Jizera Development. 40 metres high cliffs exhibit almost complete section of the Hrubá skála sandstones. Quartzose sandstones with transgressional plane in their upper parts. Two sedimentary cycles are visible,various types of current bedding are abundant.
