Short characteristics of the site: The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Geologically important outcrop on a slope of a riverlet Vrchlice in the Kutná Hora Town.Horizontally layered sandstones of Korycany Beds with quartz and limestone pebbles. Locally oblique bedding can be observed. Lenses of glauconiitic sandstone, partly strongly weathered. Different genera of sponges are found and described,
