Geology
Short characteristics of the site: The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Road cut with outcrops of sandstones of Cenomanmian Korycany Beds. They consist of yellowish glauconitic sandstones with calcareous cement. They contain great vairiety of ichnofossils indicating sedimentary environments of Late Cenomanian sea.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Cretaceous - Czech Cretaceous Basin, Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Kutná Hora and Svratka region - Kutná Hora crystalline complex
