Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Rocky ridge made of a porphyritic, biotite-muscovite granite of an older intrusive phase. Typical relief originated due to frost mechanical weathering. Instructive outcrop, also geomorphologically interesting.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Saxothuringicum - Krušné hory Mts. Pluton
