Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum of Šumava Mts. Outcrops of sillimanite biotite paragneisses of the Monotonous Series. They consist of aggregates of quartz, plagioclase and biotite with fibrolithic sillimanite. Sillimanite aggregates are intergrown with biotite.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - crystalline complex and pre-Variscian Palaeozoic - Moldanubicum - Metamorphic units in Moldanubicum
