Geology

Short characteristics of the site: The Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline. Mineral deposit, mine gallery of geological, mineralogical and historical interest. Silvere mining started already in the 16th century and llater, after surveying in 1957. Ore veins are situated in a pyroxenic erlane enclosed in chloritic-muscovitic and muscovitic mica schist. Nearby quartz-baryte veins with galenite andfsphalerite were discovered.
