Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Carpathians, Bílé Karpaty Unit. Nature Monument. Old quarry after trachyandesite exploitation, partly rejuvenated. This rock represents a chimney breccia of biotite-pyroxene andesite and caustically affected surrounding sandstones of the Badenian-Sarmatian ages. These volcanics represent a product of subterranean activity.
