Geology

Short characteristics of the site: West Carpathians, Silesian and Subsilesian units, Lower Cretaceous. A flysch sequence of the lower part of the Godula Formation. Middle parts are formed of massive resistant sandstones, lower outcrops of prevailing clayey and silty flysch with thin sandstone beds. Interesting ecosystem with a great variety of floral and faunal species. Nature Reserve in the Protected Landscape Area.
