Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Moravosilesian Devonian. Part of the Moravian Karst area. Vilémovice Limestone is intensively karstified, numerous superficial and underground karst features are present. Pleistocene fauna was discovered in some caves. The locality is classified as a Nature Reserve in the Protected Landscape Area Moravský kras - the Moravian Karst.
